Gourmet Chocolates

Okay, so we've convinced you to give the gift of gourmet chocolates to those on your gift list who are hard to buy for. Now you just need to know where to look.

Sweet Shopping
The best place to guy gourmet chocolates is online (unless you live near a major city like Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, etc. or just want an excuse to go to the store to get a whiff of the fine gourmet chocolates--or to buy one for yourself). In some cases, gourmet chocolatiers have outlets (in the form of a refrigerated cooler or some designated shelf space) in department stores in the midwest too. But the selection is rather limited.

Some of the finest gourmet chocolates in the world are Godiva chocolates, and other than visiting Godiva's website directly, you can find their products on other sites in various gift baskets, gift towers, etc. Chocolate.com has some of Godiva's most beautiful gift towers, as well as gourmet chocolates packaged for the holidays. One item we thought was particularly cute was a box of Belgian Holiday Chocolates from Harry and David. The box is in a pyramid shape and decorated to look like a Christmas tree, which is appropriate since Christmas is a mere two weeks away. The best part is that it's only $19.95! $19.95 for gourmet chocolates!!

Speaking of chocolate.com, we noticed they had chocolate gifts and gourmet chocolate gifts for nearly every occasion, and probably some you haven't thought of yet. The next time you have occasion to give someone chocolate, you might want to check these guys out.

Meanwhile, have a safe, happy and chocolatey holiday season!
